Global leadership of the United States has undergone transformative changes due to modern domestic America politics and international competition combined with technological advancements during this century.

Under the Trump administration America First emerged as a new presidential policy that brought significant adjustments to international diplomacy and global business operations along with world governance institutions.

Under the Trump Administration America first became the new presidential doctrine which implemented major changes in international relationships alongside global trade and world governance systems.

American foreign policy shifted under the Trump administration from interdependence with other nations to go its own way internationally.

The Trump administration valued national goals above international accords thus their active presence in world agreements became limited.

Climate policy along with NATO alliance stability suffered at home as the United States withdrew from the Paris Agreement and other nations faced uncertainties about U.S. commitments through doubts about NATO.
