President Trump rejects security guarantee and NATO membership to ukraine

President Donald Trump ruled out offering US security guarantees or NATO membership for Ukraine, while his adviser Elon Musk announced plans to cut the $6.7 trillion budget by $1 trillion this year.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting, Trump stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would visit on Friday to sign an agreement on transferring natural resources, following US pressure to hand over rare minerals essential for aerospace and technology.

Earlier this week, the US aligned with Russia at the UN, supporting a resolution that called for ending the war without emphasizing Ukraine’s territorial integrity, a move that put Washington at odds with its European allies.
