President Asif Ali Zardari is recovering well after testing positive for a new variant of coronavirus, confirmed his physician, Dr. Asim Hussain.
He was moved from Nawabshah to Karachi for advanced care, where several tests were conducted. Despite rumors on social media and Indian channels, Dr. Asim assured there’s no cause for concern.
Treatment began with some imported medication, and his condition continues to improve.
President Zardari is expected to be discharged within a day or two. Dr. Asim emphasized that CO_VID-19 still exists in Pakistan and urged caution.
