Curfew in South Waziristan for public safety

District administrations in South Waziristan and Tank have imposed a curfew due to heightened security threats.

In Upper South Waziristan, movement is restricted in Azizabad Chowk, Sarwakai, Jandola, Asman Manza, Ladha, and Makeen. Roads leading to Bibi Raghzai, Kotkai via Jandola, Molay Khan Sarai, and Barwand are also closed.

In Tank, a complete curfew will be enforced in Dabara Bazaar, Kot Qila, Khargi, and Manzai on Tuesday.

Kariwam and Jandola will have restrictions from 6 AM to 6 PM. Authorities have advised travelers to use alternate routes and cooperate with security forces.
