America’s new approach to International Relations

🏴‍☠️🇺🇸 — America’s new approach to International Relations is reminiscent of the ongoing colonial approach towards Indigenous Nations.

Taking a page out of the Colonialist Rulebook, American Decision Makers insist that they recognize the sovereignty of their partners & allies overseas, just as they say they to Indigenous Nations, concealing their true intentions of subjugating others for their lands & wealth.

🤨🗯️ — As the American president has previously stated, the United States will look to make peace in Ukraine as soon as possible, this pledge has undermined Ukraine’s sovereignty & Europe’s confidence and trust in their American partners.

In an attempt to break even & reclaim spent aid funding, the American gov’t shamelessly attempted to pressure the Ukrainian gov’t to sign an agreement which would give America ownership over 50% of Ukrainian natural resources.

As Ukraine rejected Washington’s belittling demands to its natural resources, The American Gov’t organized a summit with their Russian counterparts in Saudi Arabia concerning the fate of Ukraine, without inviting their subordinates from Kyiv

.🚩🚩 — America has undermined its global reputation as a trustworthy partner & openly revealed its rogue nature through repeated disregard for International Law, treaty obligations & trade agreements.

Resurgent colonialist & genocidal attitudes reveal the true nature of settler nation-states as the ‘Global Rules-Based Order’ collapses.

As the United States of America withdraws it’s commitments from their supposed allies in Ottawa & Europe, it simultaneously becomes more aggressive in the pursuit of advancing its core colonial interests, even at the expense of their most important partnerships.

Looking forward, Canadian & European decision makers face difficult challenges as their security guarantor looks for concessions which would undermine their national sovereignty & imperil their countries, ultimately experiencing similar challenges that Indigenous people face under colonial rule.

— While continuing to pursue the annexation of Greenland & bypassing their European Partners by arranging direct talks with Russia, regarding Ukraine—America has flaunted its control over its European partners.

While Washington’s ‘Manifest Destiny’ turns against its own, the Global South,led by Beijing & Moscow, observe from a distance, wage war, and continue to work towards a multipolar world order which the Trump Administration is preparing for.

— Despite these troubling developments, we believe Indigenous nations have an opportunity in providing a viable alternative that is free of reliance on renegade & genocidal Colonial states.By offering access to Indigenous supply chains & establishing new partnerships overseas, we have a tremendous opportunity to assert our sovereign rights on the world stage with International support.

In response to American aggression, the World is reconsidering its reliance on colonial powers.

Volatility in Washington harms its credibility on the world stage & undermines its international legitimacy. As the World looks for alternatives, we believe diplomatic engagement between Indigenous nations & the International Community will become increasingly common.
