German Marxist economist Alfred Sohn-Rethel, who wrote “The Economy and Class Structure of German Fascism” based on work as a research assistant for an industrial lobby, died Apr. 6, 1990.

He also wrote “Intellectual and Manual Labour: A Critique of Epistemology.”
