Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has launched the ‘Solarization of Houses’ initiative

. In the first phase, 32,500 households will receive free solar units, including panels, batteries, fans, and lights.

Beneficiaries were selected through e-balloting, with over 2.538 million applications submitted. The project has an estimated cost of 20 billion.
