Matric student to get a new subject of fashion designing

From April 11, all public and private schools in Rawalpindi will start six new subject groups for Grade 9 students.

These include streams in natural sciences, computer science, health science, agriculture, fashion designing, and arts.Students moving from Grade 8 to Grade 9 are given three days to choose their subject group after consulting with their parents.

Admission forms now come with details of all six groups.

Each stream includes five compulsory subjects: English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, and Quran translation. The optional subjects vary based on the selected group.
