60 DAYS TO IMPROVE SCREENING: USA WARNS PAKISTAN OR FACE ENTRY BAN

The Trump administration is considering imposing entry restrictions on Pakistan and 25 other countries if they fail to address U.S. security concerns within 60 days, according to a memo reviewed by Reuters.

The proposal categorizes 41 countries into three groups. The first group, including Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea, may face a complete visa ban.

The second group, including Eritrea and Myanmar, could face partial restrictions. The third group, including Pakistan and Belarus, has 60 days to comply before facing potential entry limits. A U.S. official stated the list is not final.

This move aligns with President Trump’s January 20 executive order for stricter security vetting, directing cabinet members to recommend countries for entry bans by March 21.
